Our friend Jesse Chorng, creator of the Sneaker Mirror, has been busy building the worlds first musical skate bowl, The Syntheshredder, an 18′ diameter bowl that uses the skater’s motion to create music in real time. I personally haven’t skated since high school, but this project has me wanting to get on a board on a daily basis. Check out his project blog and if you are as into it as I am donate something to his kickstarter and get a vinyl and a t shirt (and maybe a deck if you are in need of a new one).
