SANJURO DOWN JKT - BLACK
Sanjuro is commonly assumed to be a style of traditional Japanese clothing, however it is not. Truthfully Sanjuro is the 1962 black and white sequel to Yojimbo directed by Akira Kurosawa and staring Toshiro Mifune. This jacket on the other hand is a hybrid between a bomber and a half sleeve happi top. It features a classic bomber arm pocket with a Riri M8 zipper, front snap pockets, a ribbed neck line, a railroad stitch across the hem with decorative euclid triangle stitches above it and is filled with 100% white Polish goose down. Yet the most impressive detail is the finish - the entire garment is mud dyed in a process to change the hand of the nylon and remove matte its sheen. The result in unbelievable and gives this particular iteration added character and a whole lot of extra.
100% Nylon. Made in Japan.
