Born from designer Ryo Kashiwazaki's desire to reproduce his favorite sneaker styles in the best possible handmade fashion, the Manual Industrial Products from the Hommage Collection come in a dyed black leather that ages beautifully over time. The leather will develop a unique patina with wear.

"Adding a new design to the lineup each season, I have been trying to design the process of the object being made on Hommage collection. By considering sneakers as a type of industrial product, I wanted to re-design them so that they look different by making in a different producing process, the manual industry. While doing that, I put into the designs, by using tanned leather, the elements of “growing”, which seems to be an opposite image of sneakers that are usually worn out and threw away. You will feel the unique taste of the manually crafted sneakers, which are generally thought to be industrial products. This uniqueness is created by the workmen exerting their professionalism into each production process. In terms of the material, tanned leather is used on the sneakers so that users can enjoy the deep and rich taste of the leather. Since soles are changeable, these sneakers can be used for a long period."
